Dr. Latha Venkatesh

About Doctor

Dr Latha Venkateswaran completed her MBBS from KMC Manipal University and FRCS in (Paediatric) Surgery from Glasgow, UK. She has been a practising paediatric surgeon for the past 22 years. While in the UK, she worked at Peterborough District Hospitals and Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. Her expertise includes treating all paediatric and neonatal surgical conditions and emergencies.

She is also part of the academic postgraduate teaching programme at the hospitals she is attached to. She was an examiner in surgery for the postgraduate exams of Texila American University and has been a guide for postgraduate trainees in surgery with their thesis work. Dr Latha Venkateswaran has also presented papers at various conferences across the country. She is a life member of the IAPS and was recently nominated as one of the top paediatric surgeons in South India in the India Today Survey 2022.
