Dr Sharath Babu M D, is a trained paediatric neurologist working at Ovum Woman & Child Speciality Hospital, Bangalore. Dr Sharath is a skilled professional with over half a decade of experience. He completed his MBBS from the prestigious Mysore Medical College and went on to pursue his post-graduation in MD Paediatrics from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Ajmer.

Following his passion, he joined a fellowship at the renowned Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health. He worked extensively under the mentorship of some of the leading experts in paediatric neurology in India.

Dr Sharath has made significant contributions to the field of neurology and is an expert in managing drug-resistant epilepsy secondary to various causes such as HIE, structural malformations, FCD, and epilepsy syndromes.

He is proficient in evaluating, diagnosing, prognosticating, and managing numerous metabolic and mitochondrial disorders, storage disorders, and syndromic evaluations. He is also skilled in reporting and interpreting Electroencephalograms (EEGs), Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS), and Electromyograms (EMGs). Throughout his years of practice, he has gained expertise in interpreting MRI scans, alongside Essential Clinical Correlation, Enabling Accurate Diagnoses.
